if i recall, mike touched on the celeste color already. he said that the bianchi celeste isnt actually the textbook definition of celeste, which is more blue that aqua/turquoise.

i think he also said that bianchi basically owns the color (in his mind, at least) and that he wont touch it.

No, it doesn't, the Madison isn't lugged, and the Colnago doesn't have half chrome forks and half chrome rear seat stays, fact is that Colnago looks nothing like the Madison OR the OP's bike, well, its the same color, but that doesn't make it look like it.

if not, id love to know why or what your reasoning is for not doing so, etc. (no sarcasm)
Agreed!
Yes ! A 1 1/8 head tube would be a huge improvement.

I agree--good call.

- - -

As for colors, brown, or a deep burgundy with chrome looks really classy. Here's an old Italvega that does the brown and chrome really well. Green & chrome is also really nice, reminiscent of older Raleigh Super Courses. And a flat black and chrome combo is always a safe bet.

I think the lighter colors have a hard time pairing with chrome because of less contrast. This yellow Marinoni pista works, but it's also closer to an orange. I'd also be very curious how lavender would work.

Regardless, thanks for asking for our feedback, Mike!

Very cool

Very cool-looks like they used to which is what you are after here I am assuming. As you know, chrome frames are a messenger's crying call and they and their "wannabe" friends should love the all chrome version. If you can make these semi-chrome/paint numbers as framesets for under $220 but do the full bikes with trick, true fixie components (Sugino, Cane Creek, Nitto, Rivet saddle, real wheels at least Velocity or better) and charge what you have to for the bike to be truly cool you should do well there too! Good luck!!! All depends on where in the market you are going!

thats a very interesting color combo! something you dont see everyday. i think a blue/chrome and a red/chrome would look awesome!

btw what happened to the special kilo tt's w/ the special paint jobs? i noticed that you put the motobecane fantom cross UNO where those kilos use to be. my gf was planning on getting a pink one! will you be selling them again?

First posted this August 10 2009 - and after getting a bit of feedback I ordered frames at once

They just now sailed - so they should be in right at Jan 1 or so

Colors coming are
tangerine / chrome
black / chrome
white / chrome
green / chrome
full chrome

sizes: 44, 47, 50, 53, 55, 57, 60 [c-c]

if these are popular; we may change 2011 Kilo TT and/or Stripper to color/chrome in complete bikes -
any thoughts or suggestions?

thanks

You now I'm down for full chrome (and maybe even a tangerine/chrome 47 for the wife). What are we looking at as far as price goes...will these framesets still be 200 bucks?

Cost on Chrome and Paint/Chrome is much more
So I am thinking $220

Do you think that is still a bargin compared to other framesets?
