Handlebar diameter on the Dawes SST?

I converted my Dawes SST to a fixed gear already and I want to get new handlebars (I don't like the drop bullhorns on it). Does anyone know the diameter of the clamp of the stem that comes on it originally so I know what size handlebar to get?

Wrong forum. Try the Single Speed Fixed Gear forum: https://www.bikeforums.net/forumdispl...eed-Fixed-Gear

(Maybe an admin can move this thread over?)

Go to the bike shop. They can tell you what size you need and sell you a new handlebar....
