Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

nice and clean man, just level out that saddle and get some foot retention.

is that an SS?

You might want a rear brake if you made it an SS, but you don't need any foot retention.

otherwise I'd say a job well done.

Yeah, I'd suggest a back brake as well, though it probably isn't that critical depending on how you're riding.

looks very nice. i've been looking for an old frame to do a SS conversion on.

side note - i'm no urologist, but i think that brake cable might be longer than you need

Looks like a fun ride. Enjoy it!

If you are looking for constructive criticisms...
• put the rear brake back on.
• trim the front brake cable. You can flip the lever around so the cable routing is direct if you want.
That fork is begging for a headlight to be mounted to it!

This fork uses a slightly different mount but you get the idea.
