Sometimes I wish my taste in bikes wasn't so monochromatic.

Thanks man. I may actually give this one a try at some point. I like the slopped nose on the Evo though, since I tend to scoot forward when I'm really hammering in the drops.

Thanks man. I agree, I usually don't like loud colors on bikes but Mucky's is awesome. It totally works.

Insulated water bottle in the snow? I hope you're not putting hot drinks in that thing. Serious mouth-burning potential.

Should this be my next geared bike ?
I'm seriously considering it. Currently, only the framesets are available, but a local All City dealer expects to have the completes in a couple of months. Is Columbus Zona anything special, or is it just glorified CroMo ? It has some neat features like a BB30 and internal cable routing for the rear brake.

Just picked up my first multi-speed bike in many years, 04 Specialized Allez Elite Double with some fair-to-middling upgrades (King headset, Ultegra cranks/chainrings, Rolf Vector front wheel and Mavic Aksium rear). Gonna be fun learning how to shift and brake again. Not really in love with the sloping top tube or the paint scheme (or any of that company's, really) but at least it's not obnoxiously overbranded or anything. Got a decent deal on the CL, I'm happy. Now I just need to go buy the clipless setup I've been holding off on, and finish tweaking the fitting.

Zona is towards the bottom of the list(above chromor) but still nice, triplebutted down and top tube. The sets on the bottom of the columbus list seem to be a bit burlier compared to the top as they are available for road and mtb,the top of the list is road only.
