Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I've never seen a yellow RB-1 before. Do you have pedalroom/velospace/whatever? I'm interested in the specs.

It's a 1993, the yellow ones came with the ultegra/600 8 speed STI group. Mine was missing some parts so it has 8 speed 105 shifters and a dura ace crank, the brakes are 600 ultegra dual pivot and the derailleurs are 600 ultegra. The 93 also has a flat crown ritchey fork. The red ones were specced with 7 speed and bar end shifters that year. IIRC they had a yellow and white one in 1992 but for the most part the yellow ones are pretty rare as far as I can tell...

Put some WTB Mutano Raptor 700x44 tires on. Time for some mountain touring! After fitting these I see I still have more room for a larger tire!

for the price this frame has one heck of a paint job. over the years it has been built for distance, commuting, racing, time trials, and training. despite all of this the paint is still in remarkable shape. i would have liked to of seen the process they used to apply the silly string.

finally done.
17lbs as shown....
super stoked on the wheelset...zipp hubs to ird cadence rims 24h/24h weighed in at 1480g.
also, i opted for the new zipp service course sl cockpit in beyond black....hadn't seen a whole lot of it out there, figured it'd be a bit different....
pardon the red shell on the saddle...waiting for the pro version (carbon shell/rails) to come in stock...

This is great looking! I do not recall ever seeing a Vitus with just the seattube and chainstays colored.

Lately alot of the stuff in the Bianchi catalog has not been very apealing to me this on the other hand looks great!
