It's like you predicted my pictures. Haha. Sorry, I screwed up the image and redid it after you posted that. But yeah, it's raw.

Yeah, it's rolled up, just to the right of the handlebars.

I would just spray some clearcoat on it that you can pick up from Autozone, and have it put together. Rock it like that for a while!

If I was more mechanically savvy, I would have done just that. The fact that I have to have it assembled by someone else turned me off from that idea though. I dropped it off today to get powdercoated. I'll post pics when I get it back.

Just out of curiosity, how much did they quote you at for the powder coating? I am trying to hunt someone down around here who can do that

gonna be a surprise! haha.

Ess, I will be paying $75, but only because I'm having it gone over a second time with a satin clear finish. Without the extra clear coat he would have charged me $60.

After you get the frane powdercoated you should take it to a shop and get the headtube and bottom bracket shell refaced, and take some rough sandpaper to inside the seat tube.

Damn! I would pay that, except cant find anyone around here who does that kinda thing And dont really wanna spray paint a whole frame by myself, seems like it might chip easily.

Just got back from the powdercoating shop for my third consultation, after deciding on a color became somewhat of a fiasco.

Through my research for the correct shade of cream, I researched basically the entire RAL color spectrum, and looked up bikes powdercoated in many many different colors. While doing so, I ended up coming across one with which I fell deeply in love. It isn't any of the colors I mentioned previously in this thread. Watch out for that curve ball.

I'll post pics when I get it back.

It's finally done. A friend of mine helped me assemble it today. Well, more like he assembled it while I annoyed him. Anyway, my camera sucks, and it's a hard color to capture, so I took a few pics with different camera settings, and closeup of the top tube.

The color is "gray blue" or RAL-7031. I got the inspiration for the color from the pic below, which is a better representation of the actual color. However, I got an 80% matte clear coat on mine, and it made the blue less vibrant, so it's basically a duller version of this color:

I WOULD be out riding it right now instead of posting pictures of it, but the stupid pump I bought didn't have the presta adapter that it clearly stated was included, and it being 9:45pm here sort of prevents me from doing anything about that right now, which explains the flat tires.

Either you have really fluffy carpet or your tires are flat...
