Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

killemall, how do you know the retrospec beta sucks? have you ridden one...i also have a hi-ten draft, its exatly the same, but the retrospec comes better equipped IMHO

fuji86, the bike is called the "skunk" from the manufacturer and i dont really name my bikes but just like you my motivation is to get back into shape from a long absence, this bike fits in with some of my riding (road biking, fixed gear and mtb'ing)

vixtor, the name pepe le pew was an idea to name my bike, not for the company to rename it...lolz
and please explain why this is a horrible bike for the price?
have you ridden one yet?

i understand some of the things on this bike might not appeal to some of you but there are people out there that like it, like myself and i cant be happier...thats all that matter to me and as long as im on a bike....im koo
Well...sounds like might be his.

and, giving you the benefit of the doubt (which would be too trusting of a move because you are from socal and so are these bikes...) and assuming (wrongly) that you're not affiliated with or compensated by the company in any way for your opinions or voicing them, your opinion of these bikes is still a dumb one. they suck, they're ugly, and they're more expensive than some bikes that are way, way better.

fail either way.

ok I'm from southern california, but what the hell is this shill business and sorry I have to agree that bike is overpriced for what it is. You would have been fine if you just posted a pic and name of bike without the whole sales pitch, haha.

Even if that was not the intention, OP sounds very shill-y . . .

Also, Scrod's first name is Dave? /I guess he's not cool enough to go by only one name, like Prince and Fabio, for example.
