Brake levers fit?

Hey guys, may sound like a stupid question, but.....

Would the Cane Creek Crosstop brake levers work ALONE on 26mm drop handle bars, without the use of the drop type brake levers it recommends them to be used i conjunction with??

https://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Ca...rs/5360012608/

If not, which levers do peopl tend to use for that sized bar if they dont want drop types??

If you get the ones with the 26mm clamp, yes. If not, no.
