Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I bought a bathroom scale not too long ago, and tried weighting my kilo in this setup... Every time I get on the scale I measure in at 134 lbs. With bike in hand the scale hits 150 lbs. So I am going to go ahead and say my bathroom scale is broken HAHA...

bike weights in at 19.44 lbs (verified by bike scale at LBS)...

My bike with stock components (44CM Kilo) weighed in at just over 20 lbs, on a bike scale.
