Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Generally speaking, I only wear a helmet if I'm leaving the city limits.

I do, however, lie when people ask, and say I wear a helmet all the time.

I have a bern macon that I've used like, twice. It's a bit too tight, even at size Large.

Yes, I have a huge head.

Depends how fast I'll be riding. If it's just a chill ride on sidewalks, deserted streets then maybe.

Hucking it down the road? Hell yeah.

Well, only when we are baking cookies or hanging up picture frames but most of the time, we just take massive slapshots at crows and seagulls.

99 percent of the time I will. If I can't find mine, then I'll ignore it. But I do usually know where I left it.

I was giving the cycling cap thing a go. Haven't used it much since then, kind of a hassle to deal with.

It's possible, I was leaving a picnic. But I think that's just how my face looks.

I thought that picture was nice, I like seeing people taking pictures on their bikes. Awesome pic, nonetheless.

I have a cycling cap but I've never used it, maybe in the winter I will but not in the summer.

Not as huge as my dready melon. I had to take one of my old ProTec skate helmets (size XL) and scrape out some of the foam in the back. I still have to squeeze the damn thing on.

No, inseam. You bore a hole into the center of your head, and measure the radial distance. That's the only way to accurately fit a helmet.

Actually, you can just find the circumference and then divide the number by pi; which will give you the diameter.

Middle school math ftw.

Only if your head is perfectly round. College math ftw
