Its my frame, I posted it way back when it was blue, but I gave it to a buddy and he has had it since then, he built it up and almost had it done but he started work and school so didn't have time to finish the build. He took his parts and gave the frame back to me with the new red color. Home made is what a few (including myself) thought, but never actually proven, a lot of people also thought it to be some prototype frame too, but again, never proven.

That paint might be indicative of what's below it, aging composite material? Carbon-composite?

I know nothing about the frame besides the fact that it was orig blue and that it was repainted by the person that owned it after me. Maybe its in tip top, maybe its aging composite material, I don't know! LOL! I couldn't tell you when, where, how, why it was built, I can tell you that I have an almost 13 year old carbon framed bike that still rides like a dream and hasn't failed me. ;0) I can also tell you that it is and I have it and I'm interested in a trade for an Italian frame. LOL!

Pretty light is all I can tell you right now as I never really weighed it. I remember thinking "this thing is really ****ing light!" the first time I held it. =0)

Any interest in this frame ilikebikes? I'd totally want to build this up if I had a frame to trade with you. Any guess as to the size? If your friend built it, then you should have been able to see it in person with him on it?

I have to say with it built up like that in the pic it is one super rad bike.
