Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

If thats really 80. I'm going to skip class and buy it tonight.

Although part of me probably wont do it because I don't have the heart to rob someone blind. God damn morals. I probably wont even call.

Think about it like this... if he's serious and someone does buy, you'll have just missed out on a crazy deal. And don't Aerospokes go for like 150 used? Even if you don't want it you could easily make a profit, those things are hot at the moment.

Do it come on, help this poor kid out with his failing grades. If I lived there id be all over it, but it does kinda sound fishy though.

called, no one picked up. Trying one more time then forgetting about it. Karma's a ***** and doing this to a fellow cyclist just feels like i'm bringing a lot of it on to myself.

Tried again, no response, out of sight, out of mind.

Is this Hed3 wheel worth anything near this amount? I know it can be dangerous if theres a crack, but can that be repaired by putting on new carbon fiber and sealing it?
https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/bik/2101048457.html
I would like to get this and use whatever paint process there is for carbon fiber to paint it white...

Bikes: Too many bikes, too little time to ride

looks like he only put on some epoxy, didn't put on new carbon + epoxy/impregnate. epoxy can be pretty strong, depending on what was used. 1cm side to side wobble is a bit much, though.

Bikes: '74 Schwinn Sports Tourer (Polo), S-Works E5 Team Festina (Chorus 11), Trek 2200 Bonded Carbon (Fixed), Trek 920 (7 speed IGH), Chesini Olimpiade SL (1x7)

Let's see...

1) Cracked
2) Cracked again
3) Substantially out of true
4) Tubular

...#4 being a big disadvantage unless you're riding strictly on the track.

That wheel is not a good deal.
