Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I hate that the majority of people in here speak American-English and can not always pronounce foreign brand names correctly that do not sound quite like they are spelled...

It really doesn't matter, as long as you understand what they're trying to say.. I mean shoot, I say Ess-Ram instead of Sram.

Learn something new everyday ? I pronounce that as "Me-Shay", similar to Michelin tires ? But I could understand a strong "K" as in the name Michelangelo. Italians, go figure ?

no

occasional quirks of the vernacular are tolerated, but presenting yourself as an uneducated oaf will lead people to treat you as one.
