I like that. I don't like "murder" themes so some color for me is a must.

I don't mind the blackouts but I feel the same. A bit of pop adds some character.
Pretty happy with how it turned out. |

Bloody hell I'm loving this bike so far.
Still testing some bar positions before the chop. Oi, and these bloody stickers on the Deep V are a ***** to get off. Need to find me a bittie with a hair dryer. http://i48.tinypic.com/20rtn5h.jpg |
The green will make for a nice build. It looks great in person and pairs nicely with the black or chrome fork. The only thing I dislike on the red is the white background where the decals are.

Finally finished my 722 build (my first, but definitely not my last build).
Some background info: Picked up the frame/fork during Black Friday last year (yeah, took a while huh). It was a huge learning experience, and it still is. When I started, I knew I wanted to build something that looked classy, but would also be a performance beast and could get out and go when needed. That was pretty much the idea going into the build. As I started collecting parts, at some point I realized I was building towards the same bike I already have. At the same time, I didn't like riding with my wife through downtown where she works - too bumpy, slow and way too many stops. So I decided to make this more of a short distance bike. I switched the drops for risers and went with 48x19 instead of the 48x17 I'm used to. Also went with 25c/28c instead of 23/25. Put the final touches on today and took it for a spin. It's everything I hoped it would be, both in terms of appearance and performance. Looks awesome, man. Very well-thought out and put together.

Thanks Scrod, obviously I got some ideas from your 722.
Well thought out though, haha, I don't know about that. Took some trial and error, but it should go smoother next time I hope. |
i say mission accomplished, everything goes together nicely

Finally getting some parts put on it. Paint was just redone, white with a pearl top coat. New Campy Centaur BB and '72 Sugino Mighty Competition Cranks freshly drilled and polished.
