Not testy. Just trying to debunk this myth about MASH hype and cachet was in no way a deciding factor with this bike for me or for the others I know that have bought this bike.

It's fashionable to jump all over the MASH and it gets tiresome. Every bike has a rider. It's pretty weak to just hate on a bike because.

By going with that I would expect to see no more bashing of leader's(though they are improving) or any other make or model, especially that puma bike(which I will admit deserves to be slammed).

Now, do you think that will happen. ;) People are entitled to their opinions.

Look, you've got to take the good with the bad when you have a bike like that. You got lots of "ooohs" and "aaaaahs" for most of this year. I even said your bike looks nice. This isn't about you personally.

That's what happens when you let an Art Director or "Creative" design a bike. I'd bet that anyone who actually rides bikes never got close to that project.

I've never cut a Leader down (that I can recall) - They make bikes that some people like. Tejano has a Visp if I'm not mistaken and he's ok with it. The worst part about cycling is that even though many may not think so, it's VERY fashionable and about fitting in. Resist it.

It's a transitional price point though, might as well invest in a used or entry level clipless setup.

And I bought mine from chari and co. I only used it with my nagasawa when I had it; now it just collects dust in a drawer in my garage back home.

The thread is about "bang for the buck" value. Stickers (of any kind) don't add much in terms of actual locomotion on a bicycle. (however they do add +50 HP to cars!)


For the record, we all have lots of things that aren't a great "bang for the buck" value. My TV for example. I like Sony, but an comparable TV of a different brand of similar quality would be about 10-20% less.

The headbadge could be peeled off easily.
