the rear wheel drive side is laced radially on my Ksyrium SL...those idiots over at mavic!

this is to help even out the spoke tension due to the dish. (the other side is 2x)

campagnolo wheels have twice as many spokes on the drive side for the same reason.


it makes no sense on a wheel with little to no dish. (especially if both sides are radial)
