Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I'm seeing ugly colors, saddle angle and a silly wheel. I know I'm not hip enough to get the big joke.

Owner traded LTP43s, Fizik Arione, Sugino BB, Deda Pistas, and $50 for the 26in' trispoke. And says he "likes the look of short stems.

^That seatpost looks weird too. Lotta drop on that bike.

The pool looks pretty damn good though right about now.

https://www.projektfixie.com/collecti...ight-handlebar

I have a new favorite website. "It's clean lines makes for it the superior handlebar in fixed gear riding and styling." And from their frame and fork page: "The support system of every fixed gear depends on the frame and fork. Ours is designed especially for that. Purchasing this item means you're purchasing the frame and the fork."

Read through some of their descriptions, it's really quite amusing.

Whoa, when I looked at this earlier I thought it was ebay/craigslist find. No joke. Just realized it was Jackass, wow.

I'd say 70% of fixed gears on CL in L.A. have something jackass about them. That might be an underestimate.

why do car companies keep trying to make bikes?

$40,000 for a 20 pound carbon bike with a disgusting integrated computer and led lights
