have you ever skidded before? if you can skid on one bike, you can pretty much skid on all.

Reminds me of a line delivered by Chuck Yeager on the Larry King show back in the 80s.

"You can snap roll any airplane."

I'm on the chip tip too. Juanitas chips dipped in Velveeta + Rotel.

Washing it down with cheep beer - Pyramid's Outburst IPA.

I would have to agree I just learned a couple of days ago. Then when I was trying to teach my friend I did it on his bike with completely different frame size, gearing, and bars.

You just need to practice more

all this food talk is making me hungry.....

Two cheese and fresh diced tomato quesadillas;black bean chili with onions; chips and salsa; cornbread. Tex Mex-ish.

Also slammed a banana with peanut butter and two protein shakes post-workout.

Olive oil and rosemary pan-seared chicken, with a tomato-and-basil red sauce.

Served on a bed of penne rigatte. Pesto noodles. Momento!

Followed by Keystone Ice. Bravo!

i would make quesadillas with just every cheese i had in the house and the best is when id add blue cheese, tgi fridays makes blue cheese mac n cheese <3333333

but for a quick breakfast you got to throw two poached eggs with cheese, tomato, and bacon on a bread of choice.

We just made a chorizo, egg and black bean scramble with fresh cilantro, scallions, habanero peppers, a sprinkle of shredded Jack cheese and tall glasses of horchata to wash it all down with. Amazing goodness.

PIZZA FOR LUNCH.

Smoked gouda is pretty bomb. As are most smoked cheeses. I just finished off a chunk of chive cheddar cheese.

Speaking of black beans, something cheap and easy for college students that's pretty OK is: can of black beans + half of a kielbasa in a pot, make some rice, add some Tabasco, mix it up, eat it.

Another easy one for some veggies is: cut up some broccoli, put it on a baking sheet, drizzle some olive oil, stick it in the oven at 350 degrees F until the edges are slightly browned. Sprinkle some salt.

Also, the other day I made a grilled cheese with Kraft singles, yellow american, and cheese sauce. It was pretty friggin good.

Have you ever made homemade horchata? It's really easy and tastes better than any store bought stuff I've had.

LOL Damn I love this forum. I'll be adding my two cents in and out & posting my bike again once I add this season's mods!

I actually had a helluva meal at Cheesecake Factory- Crusted Salmon and shrimp scampi w/ a wall of mashed potatoes. The pineapple upside-down cheesecake made a great desert. Never sleeping on them again.

As for homie that started this post: change your silly stem or, by the looks of this post; you'll be making non bike related skidmarks.

Peace.

The Cheesecake Factory is damn good. Last time we went there I got a 'Memphis Burger' - a giant burger topped with cheddar, cole slaw, pickles, mayo and BBQ pulled pork.

Nothing quite like using different meat as a condiment.

Miss me with the pickles. Another meat as a condiment? Man, I may have to mess with that.

Yo Scrod: You ever take any rides in the RI area? We should put together a run this season!

I used to come down to Providence pretty regularly but haven't been there in a couple of years. I try rouding up an army of weirdos to come down and ride this year.

I fail to see the correlation in the skid/trackstand part. I don't skid but I frequently trackstand I guess I'm the exception???
the truth is skidding is inefficient (and i would say a little tough on the knees) there are plenty of ways to slow/stop that doesn't require you to skid (brakes)
