From the Flickr page:
Can't a cool personal project just be a cool personal project?
I'm sure this bike isn't designed for mass appeal.
We should be happy when people do different things "just because". I'm sure that the guy who made the drawings would like to see somebody build it.
One morning I woke up, that morning my dad had a smile on his face. He told me he wanted to make two special bikes. This is one of 2 very special bikes that will go on Flickr. The next one will come a bit later. The frame is made up of Columbus Spirit tubing and is fillet brazed. This frame is the Tuxedo. Fast? Aero? Kick ass looking? YES YES AND YES. More Pictures to come

Art .vs. science. Form .vs. function. Threadless stems are superior engineering but quill stems are aesthetically much more pleasing. Architects .vs. Engineers.

I have a feeling that if you shot that same bike with a telephoto lens it would look quite a bit more like the original concept rendering. It looks extra awkward because of the relatively short focal length.
The stem between the frame tubes is dumb but does look kinda cool.
