As excited as I am to be able to walk and ride again, My calves hurt too much from going up the block yesterday to even want to ride.

misskaz 04-22-11 06:38 PM

Part of me wants to go out tonight, because it's Friday and it'd be a great excuse to get on the new bike. But it's raining on and off (thunderstorms) and I'm afraid to ride it drunk because it's totally unfamiliar to me still (brand new as of last night). Plus the Sabres are kicking ass and maybe I should stay home and watch.

Scrodzilla 04-22-11 06:42 PM

I'm kinda in the mood to go out and raise hell tonight too but I have a feeling the Retrogression crew has a long night of sewing ahead of us. Maybe we'll make it for last call.

dardeau 04-23-11 07:12 AM

Well known fact: Pastry chefs make you challah.

Dannihilator 04-23-11 09:56 PM

I can't get the heart up to depart with the mtb.

I wanted to go out too! Instead, i had a "Fast and Furious" night with some friends. What you do is go buy some Corona (Because in the first movie, Vin says "You can have any brew you want, as long as its a Corona") and you have to drink every time something un-realistic happens. IE: When he shifts his Eclipse 8 times.

Anywho, its a good way to pass the time and lots and lots of un-realistic stuff happens. So you'll drink often.

holy sh*t thats the best drinking game ever. specially since my buds are a bunch of car guys. I love how they claim to run 10 second quarter mile passes but they always last like 2 minutes

adriano 04-24-11 11:57 AM

try drinking for every unrealistic thing in [any movie].

redpear 04-24-11 12:41 PM

I want to go threaded just because quill stems are so beautiful.

Yeah, its a fun game for sure. Laugh all you want but we had a legitimate 'bro night'. It was slushy out so we didn't want to risk riding.

We always liked the kid touching his nose in Dazed and Confused, plus the movie kicks ass

you don't have a girlfriend, do you?

mikehighlife 04-25-11 08:16 PM

I think Paul cranksets are ugly

Higher Class 04-25-11 09:04 PM

I've absolutely hated every Masi frame I've ever seen.

Young Version 04-25-11 09:11 PM

I bought an '09 FTP to ride on the street. With risers. And veeps.

I've owned too many bikes now to care if people think it's tarck.

Dannihilator 04-25-11 09:12 PM

Correction, I can easily depart with the mtb.

avner 04-26-11 12:04 AM

I'm excited about more things in the mail that I shouldn't be buying.

Yes.

I have never really considered going clipless until now. Now it's the next thing I want to spend money on.

Butthash 05-01-11 03:05 AM

I felt the weight of my friend's Leader while moving it, and instantly envied him, wanting to take my Pake' straight home to buy myself a Leader, or other decent frame online. Like this thing weighed like even half as much as my ride, even with a SP0KK!

What happens if you feel an even lighter track frame? Such as a pista concept or even a gan well pro evasion? Hed 3xpl0d?

/on topic

I went for a 3 hour ride today and as a trade off I'll be grading papers until at least 4 am; totally worth it.

In theory, yes!

avner 05-01-11 10:27 PM

I have two fixies again
Neither has a decently high gear ratio.
I'm completely exhausted from my birthday but still don't want to go to sleep.
