Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I want to visit Seattle.
Not just to see such cool people as CC700 Or jdgesus. But rather to eat at jdgesus bakery, because it looks really freaking good.

Confession: I recently picked up a frame that I'm hoping will be my "last frame" (keeping my Madison) but I've been hesitant to post it because I've been going through frames more than women change their tampons.

As excited as I am to be able to walk and ride again, My calves hurt too much from going up the block yesterday to even want to ride.

Part of me wants to go out tonight, because it's Friday and it'd be a great excuse to get on the new bike. But it's raining on and off (thunderstorms) and I'm afraid to ride it drunk because it's totally unfamiliar to me still (brand new as of last night). Plus the Sabres are kicking ass and maybe I should stay home and watch.

I'm kinda in the mood to go out and raise hell tonight too but I have a feeling the Retrogression crew has a long night of sewing ahead of us. Maybe we'll make it for last call.

I wanted to go out too! Instead, i had a "Fast and Furious" night with some friends. What you do is go buy some Corona (Because in the first movie, Vin says "You can have any brew you want, as long as its a Corona") and you have to drink every time something un-realistic happens. IE: When he shifts his Eclipse 8 times.

Anywho, its a good way to pass the time and lots and lots of un-realistic stuff happens. So you'll drink often.

Yeah, its a fun game for sure. Laugh all you want but we had a legitimate 'bro night'. It was slushy out so we didn't want to risk riding.
