Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I have never really considered going clipless until now. Now it's the next thing I want to spend money on.

I felt the weight of my friend's Leader while moving it, and instantly envied him, wanting to take my Pake' straight home to buy myself a Leader, or other decent frame online. Like this thing weighed like even half as much as my ride, even with a SP0KK!

What happens if you feel an even lighter track frame? Such as a pista concept or even a gan well pro evasion? Hed 3xpl0d?

/on topic

I went for a 3 hour ride today and as a trade off I'll be grading papers until at least 4 am; totally worth it.

I have two fixies again
Neither has a decently high gear ratio.
I'm completely exhausted from my birthday but still don't want to go to sleep.

Hmmm, that'd be a tough one for me, I need my buff, rolling singletrack fix often.

I openly tell/ recommend people to not get FG/SS depending on their needs.

I would totally get a Cinelli Mash frame. And I'm sometimes embarrassed to buy fixed gear specific parts because I don't want the cute sqrls at my LBS to think poorly of me.

I really miss my Benotto Modelo 1700 and fear I will never own a bike like that again.

Buyed and tried; yea the MASH will get girls but only vigorelli takes it a couple steps further, ending in the bed.
