Truth; I've vowed never to pay my money to the likes of BD; never have, never will.

Then let's just drop the whole idea then.

If I told you bikesdirect uses less than admirable business practices such as child labor... ever wondered why kilo tt dimensions are never the same? That's what happens when children are forced to learn tig welding before arithmetic.
This post is a tribute to those little girls and boys who lost their lives to the tire clearance fiasco. Corporal punishment.

Told you to keep it murdered out.... but nooooo :innocent:

Scrodzilla 08-21-11 08:18 PM

Hers isn't murdered out though. I just really dig the whole setup of that build.

I think I may just bet super stoked about it because it's a new addition to the family. I also think it's cute 'cause it's so tiny.

Tiny bikes ARE hella cute. Honestly I think tall bikes are kinda ugly. Not like "tall bikes," but I mean anything over 56cm. No offense, tall people. Maybe I'm biased because I'm tiny. :p

Leukybear 08-21-11 09:15 PM

Maybe you should tell that to hairnet's face. :roflmao2:

I have to agree with you through; especially when you have a womanly sized version of the same bike; in my case, my wife's 48cm orbea orca to my 54.

I think its just your big fat feet, attached to your big fat legs that look dumb. IMO.

Also I want a tallbike. My friend on a Tallbike and I rode through Melrose. He got too much attention. I'm jelly.

Buzzkill. Any sources or threads where this is discussed?
Also what was the tire clearance fiasco?

redpear 08-23-11 10:01 AM

Relax, dude. He's just fact-checking. I don't want to derail the thread but I'm curious as well, so if you have any links, that'd be nice.

i am actually in olneyville. the bikes are all good bikes, but we get almost everything donated to us, alot actually comes from bikes the brown students left on campus over the summer, so what they are paying for is mostly labor charges. but we can price a fgss up to 100 bucks higher than other bikes and they will sell like hotcakes to college students wanting some hipster cred.
