Go shoot a 45-120 old lever, that wont underwhelm you...
For shotguns the kick is only bad if you shoot like buck shot or slugs....but shooting is funn i love old lever actions

You should try my bro in laws 357 short barrel, it nearly blew my arm off. I'll stick to bump firing my AK thanks.

Personally, I'm a fan of my Mossberg 500 20 gauge pump, but I'm probably going to pick up a Mosin-Nagant as a new hunting rifle. Food is too expensive, and I live conveniently close to the ADK's.

Robofunc 05-09-11 10:02 AM

Skeet shooting is the most fun I've ever had at a shooting range.

Relyks 05-09-11 11:27 AM

I'm partial to Lee-Enfields and M1 Garands myself. A Swiss K31 is fun to shoot, too.

1.
I rode a merckx titanium made by litespeed, full durace today and I LOVED it.
2.
Im going to get my feelings towards my ex under control. She's nuts, everybody knows it, I need to calm the **** down.
3. I rode like a monster today. Did half of Cyclones then did the wolf pack mosey.

jdgesus 05-10-11 10:18 AM

i can't read cursive

Cynikal 05-10-11 10:35 AM

Second daughter is due this week and I can't concentrate on work so I'm reading BF.

nuhtowel 05-10-11 10:51 AM

I've been trying to look busy at work since my primers still haven't been delivered, so I'm reading bike forums.

RadSkrimz 05-10-11 10:53 AM

I like looking at my bike.

Although I don't acknowledge it, I enjoy catching people staring at my bike.

I switch between short risers and rb21's often.

If I see you and your ss/fg riding/walking around I'm going to be judging you and your bike. Mostly your bike.

I smoke a lot of weed. dgaf.

I started acquiring parts to build a nice 6 spd commuter out of my first conversion, but I really like riding fixed so I stopped.

I laugh at improper seat height. and cry at the same time.

I switched to some drop bullhorns yesterday and took the brake which I hardly ever touch off. I was scared but absolutely love love LOVE the way the bike looks and feels now... Don't know wat do.

Quasimorte 05-10-11 11:37 AM

OK here it is, (i know this is pure flame bait)
I own and ride a Draft.
I own a Mongoose Cachete.
I bought the latter to replace the formers rear wheel.

So do I, and I love it.

Leukybear 05-10-11 01:31 PM

The majority of the time I browse bikeforums, I'm paid to do it metaphorically.

Yes you do.

Whoa, this thread was longer than I expected. Hell just the front page funny.

I rode my gf's trek nav women's and actually liked it a lot.

After a while the fluffy saddle definitely wore on me, however the relaxed seating position was actually pretty fun :)

What did you do?

hairnet 05-11-11 01:36 AM

I swapped cogs and apparently had not torqued the lockring enough. I was backpedaling a bit hard and the cog pushed the lockring right off the threads. I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary, but I just F-ed the installation this time around. **** happens, I already ordered an IRO hub and I decided to try out Scrod's lockring.

Well, now I have a spare hub to use for a beater SS wheel with my dented Open Pro. I'm also going to the Rotafix/no-lockring idea that floats around.

If you blow up on your bike because of it i'll come to the funereal.

Leukybear 05-11-11 01:55 AM

Yea shiet happens.... luckily you had a front brake.

And yes if you died I would come as well, I mean, hey why not? It's along the way home.
