My bike started out as a 10 speed, broke, and I built it up as a fixed gear with the cheapest parts I could find. The total investment, including the bike is less than 200 dollars, and every part is "new" including a fresh powdercoat. Even though so many people on this site have awesome bikes, I have absolutely no desire to upgrade anything on it. Cheap, problem free, and glorious.

having a geared bike is always running through my head. planning on getting something with sram force or rival or even apex one day or another, been looking at the litespeed m1 complete. maybe this summer even.
46/16 gearing feels too high for me in flat alameda.
sometimes the only thing in my messengerbag is a lock. i like riding it around.
if im out for a while i usually change out of my walkable mtb shoes.
as much as i hate to admit njs is nice, but i dont go out of my way for it.
i dont usually stop at stopsigns.
spin to win.

don't have no pics.
But I've got a beard, long unkempt hear, I generally dress like I don't really care how I look.
Today's outfits
"1000bikes.org" T shirt that's a little tight on me. Swrve trousers, with one pant leg rolled up all day and old, beat up orange and black Nike Dunk Highs.

I like beards.
I was up till 5:20am yesterday looking at high-end cranks, thinking about how I shouldn't spend $200 on something I don't technically need. Now I am looking at clothes and will probably spend the same amount on something else I don't need. -__-

Hairnets interest in my beard makes me uncomfortable.
I mashed through Griffith Park with nothing but ambient light while tipsy. It was only because we heard noises coming from the bushes and got nervous.
I don't have the will power to make myself ride a bike first thing in the morning. I wish my car was still broken

I rode first thing in the morning once, without eating any breakfast, and had an early dinner the night before, so I basically had no energy. I started getting light headed, went home, and passed out on the garage floor. Scared the crap out of me.
Stupid on my part, lol.

-I like to go right when the light turns green so I could stop red light runners at their tracks, and then slow down just to irritate them
-I skid when a hot girl is looking, otherwise, I just use my brake
-I'm afraid to take my brake off, even if I don't use it.

By making the DVD, they proved themselves lawless individuals with an unbelievable amount of urban cycling skill.
By doing the Tour of California, they proved themselves as the same punks, but with real road cycling endurance and skill as well.
They have a polarized response, which demonstrates that however you feel about them, they are doing something big.
