Bikes: BMX, fixed gear

Friday I pumped out 23 miles in an hour and a half solo, which was sorta fun. Then I went home, had all the free food, did all the free laundry. Saturday night had to go to Easter vigil mass, was 3 1/2 hours long, and got old really fast. And then yesterday I got to hang out with family and eat a bunch more food and drink beer. First Oberon of the year was amazing.

I was shocked to see it...they had the double IPA and maybe Hop Slam during the winter, can't remember the name but the servers know I'm the guy that always order a Bells when I'm in there.

Today I watched the clip you guys were all talking about while eating some cereal in the office.

The reaction gifs are great.

But yeah, that was pretty bad.

while training for EMS a dude decided to jump out of his 2nd story window (pcp is fun) and land flat on his feet, snapped BOTH femurs. quads being the strongest muscle on your body retracted both bones enough they went through his skin. had to traction both his legs, guy passed out from pain pretty much instantly after that.

today i went for a quick ride to cure boredom and the weather quickly turned to crap with 33 mph wind and some light rain, i cant win with this wind.
went to lbs to replace spent co2 cartridge and aparently they cost $4 a pop now

sup amazon 12 pack?

The only thing that bugged me was at the end of the game when the coach was interviewed and said he's never seen anyone be injured before and then continue to care about the rest of the team winning the game.

Has the guy never watched any live sporting event where someone was injured? Cuz that happens every time.

The wind was crazy at least dry is following it this time...

Today I went for an AM street ride and put the new bits on before the ride and then put 40 miles in this afternoon.

Today I felt really slow untill I saw the specs of the wind upon arriving home, climbing into the wind basically stopped me dead.

Today I went saddle shopping and bought a toupe

Today I remember that I forgot most of the tools for my bike at home during spring break. Can't install my spds.

Brake cable too short for new handle bars. Can't install.

FML.

edit: At least I got to install 5 sets of Kool Stop pads.
