Couldn't set a safe line of passage, the guy shouldn't have been on a road.

Joggers in the lane don't bother me as long as they have an ear open without an ear bud in it.

I'll be riding my 36x16 and 26x2.2 mtb at the DJ's tomorrow, don't have a tire to put on the 930.

Bikes: Several, mostly not name brands.

Rode a derailleur bike for the first time since last summer. Weird being able to stop my feet to snug up the straps. But with a 28mph headwind for much of the ride I think it was a good choice.

Found a tire, but it is community day, which includes a 5k run so yeah, dirt jumping it is.

broke 35mph on the road on a 26" MTB with 40psi knobby tires, Tourney cranks, and fixie toe straps. 6/10 probably will not do again

Meh. I've done that lots.

Was it a fixed gear MTB?

Takagi Tourney or Shimano Tourney?

today i had a sweet ass day walkin around the city with the woman, spring is my favorite season, even though my eyes are starting to get itchy from the pollen

saw a bunch of weirdness:

apparently this thing is counting days until the end of the earth, its a water wheel in the hudson river, i dont know how that works but its interesting

some kind of photoshoot was happening that involved pink yellow green and blue sheep, and a man in a white suit.
and strobes and modifiers that i will never get to use cuz they cost more than my car.

tomorrow i return to city and put in some more mileage

I have been thinking about getting a Kona Unit and putting huge slicks on it just for fun. Every set of stairs will be mine.

today i put in 66 miles that couldve been great but was plagued with problems

idiots swerving and not looking on mup's
nearly crashing into said idiots numerous times
dropped chain
wheel out of true and tire popped off the rim
aquarack finally launched a rump rocket
said rump rocket was the bottle that had water left in it, last 20 miles was DRY.

i need to get this geared bike going so i can get far away from this damn city.

least i didnt have to work today.

Bikes: BMX, fixed gear

Pumped out 43 miles. Absolutely gorgeous weather today, sunny and 70. Was supposed to go with a buddy, but he got caught up in some stuff involved with moving out next weekend. And now I'm probably going to end up going to a party at some dudes house, who I don't know, because a girl wants me to. Worst part is that I'm basically out of liquor, and don't have money for more. Gotta love the end of the semester.

Today I laughed......

Cheryl's seven year old nephew came over. He loves "Uncle Greg", I fix his bikes and get him a new one every summer. Bribes. He saw the clips and straps on the new pedals and was amazed----"Wow, his bike has pedals like on a horse!!"

Bikes: All of them

Today I climbed hawk hill fixed for the first time -- twice. 46x16. Feels real good. But on the way home I dropped my chain on a real nasty bump down a moderate hill, good thing I've got a front brake. Upon further inspection my chain ring is pretty far off center now, could all the steep climbing and/or steep descending have pulled it out of alignment? I checked the chainring bolts like a week ago and they were torqued correctly and evenly. Or maybe it's just because it's a piece of ****, whatever no-name crankset that came on the bike.

Today I had a good dirt jump session on my birthday, but the pair of tires that I can't kill(specialized roubaix armadillo elites) on the 930 and went for an easy 10 mile ride this evening on the 930.
