Tonight the Sabres are freaking me out, this game is too close. I also tried a really terrible beer and had a chorizo burrito. Not bad.

Today my daughter and I made some home made chocolates for Easter ... well, we melted chocolate and put it in moulds, and the lass got to lick the bowl ... while I got to do the dishes. We also made Rocky Road. I predict some sick tummies over the next few days

Bikes: BMX, fixed gear

Yesterday I went on a pretty fun ride with a friend. Did just short of 30 miles, but most of it ended up being on gravel. First time doing that, and aside from the parts that were straight sand, it was a lot of fun.

Today is one class at 11, and then I'm heading home for the weekend. Can't wait to get so much free food and free laundry.

I tried Perpetuem solids and they were the worst "cycling food" I have had to date.

Last night I went to bed with a heating pad on my shoulders and today I got really excited about buying some fancy carpal tunnel braces. I may start taking glucosamine because my knees are getting creaky and sore. I'm getting old and falling apart, sigh.

Drinking pineapple juice helps my sore knees. Try it. The worst that can happen is you drink some tasty juice.

I've been hearing good things about skratch labs drink mix lately. Supposedly it doesn't cause stomach rot like a lot of other mixes.

i dont use drink mix unless its exceptionally hot (like 85+ F) or im going really long like 4+ hours

i also dont watch what I eat, which means there is a ****load of salt in my diet.

also im over cycling specific space food its not worth the cost and bread/fruit/nuts/candy bars and crap work just fine. closest thing to space food ill eat anymore is a cliff bar on the biek

also...

nuun also contains sorbitol.....which is a laxative.
i found that out the hard way during a 112mi ride in 95* heat a few years ago.

Seriously, try Skratch Labs. Amazing. CarboRocket is great too, but it's made locally and I am not sure if it's available everywhere.

Today, I got a new phone. Droid RAZR. Huge step up from my HTC Incredible 2. Also, I picked up a bunch of Russian River and Alesmith stuff for a few bucks and some bike repair. So far, it's been a great day.

I had high hopes for Nuun tablets, but if the water in my bottle isn't super-cold, they make me retch.

today i got my acceptance letter to F.I.T. went out for a celebratory 40 mile ride around the island

right headphone broke, dropped my chain on some incredibly gnarly pothole section, got a flat from a 2.5" roofing nail

still loved it though, and am happy i finally know im accepted
