Today I got some dr dre beats pro headphones from goodwill. Music is new again. Also my front tire exploded when I was almost asleep last night; I thought someone shot my apartment. 7000 miles was a good run for that tire.

Curious, how much were the headphones?

man I picked up one of those cheap niterider cadence sensors because I read some people got them to work with garmin 500s. after toying with it for 30 minutes I gave up and cut the zip ties (can we figure out a better way to mount these on bikes PLEASE) I gave up because I'm on my way out the door. as I cut the last one, it comes on lol. Good news is I found a $5 cadence sensor, now I just gotta go rebuy some zip ties

Today I:

Painted my nails in honor of our alleycat and poker race, which is Saturday! I really hope people come out and have a good time.

Found out I'm likely working the race checkpoint at Bangers and Lace, a bar/restaurant focusing on sausage and craft beer. This diminishes my disappointment at not being able to ride in my own race. Drinking beers and signing manifests? Yeah, I think I can handle that.

Borrowing a friend's wheelset for the 722 before i can get my own set of nicer ones, Strapped them onto my backpack, and biked a couple miles home. I passed a group of kindergarteners, and they told their leader, "Hey! He looks like Captain America!"
"That's because he is!"

I got a chuckle out of that.

Wait until you get to ride around with a whole other bike strapped on. You just get stupid comments at that point

Those nails are badass. I wish I could race or work it. I may go to the after-party. We will see.

Is there a program or script that automatically leaves feedback on ebay once feedback from the associated auction is received by the other party? I'm asking this because I left feedback and less than a minute later, I received feedback in return from the seller.

I receive notifications via my iOS app. He probably got a notification, and sent your feedback.

I'm drinkin' Busch for $1. Mmmmm, good.

Also found an outlet with $1.50 pounders of PBR the other day. Seems like $2 + is becoming the norm.

Today, after riding brakeless for a whole year, I put on brakes. I went out for a ride and got hit by a car for the first time. Dented my top tube and broke brand new tektro R200's. :/

Today, I am seriously in the best mood I've been in in months. I haven't been in this good of a mood since I went to Madison or Austin on vacations, but this time I don't know why.
