My wife rode her bent, too. It was a short ride, but that's all I'm allowed for now by the cardiologist. Hey, I was just happy to get a ride in.

Sweet! Glad to see you guys up and at 'em again!

My first road bike came w that. I still ride it regularly.
It has shimano 10sp mix group on it now and OP/ultegra 32h wheels:

Dude, TMonk, I want your bike. Do you know anything specific about the frame? original paint?

Bikes: Bike Count: Rising.

Today was a day full of dirt jumping, a little bit of yard work and catching the grill on fire....

Took this along my favorite route. 12.5 miles killed today in the heat.

Today I attempted to do a century with jdg and cc700. Charlie made it to a metric before he had to go MTB, jdg made it past 100. I made it to the top of a 2 mile climb, putting me at 92.8 miles when my chain snapped. Lulz. My bike troll'd me.

"Because broke chain."

Today I cleaned my bike. Gave the old girl some love. Clean chain, clean hubs, clean everything. She's happy now. Then I went to a bbq with the wife. Sat in a friend's backyard in a part of town so far west that I may have actually been in Iowa. Drank beer, grilled things, talked restaurant life with all of the other cooks and chefs there, grilled more things, drank more beers... Yeah, today rocked.

Today I Strava'd a PR on my ride to work. Averaged 17mph. Felt like I was going to explode in the heat when I finally stopped. Wish I had time for longer rides...

Bikes: Surly crosscheck ssfg, Custom vintage french racing bike, Bruce Gordon Rock & Road

this weekend i had the chance to scope out the route that i am planning for a fall bike tour.... some tough climbing involved. Saw some loaded bikes headed up, they had that look of simultaneous suffering and utter bliss that i know well.
