ride home a different story. got let out early at 3. if I hit a red light I felt like I was on Mars. Made it home (to a hot house) and felt like I was minutes from a heat stroke heh. Definitely should've brought water instead of soda.

oh yeah...

i got to touch a squirrel today for the first time. it was everything I'd hoped it be. I brought almonds as a snack and I saw him and tossed him one, so he came over and hung out and just stuffed his belly with as many as I would give him (a lot!). they were raw/organic so hopefully they were okay for him. he would grab my fingers to get to the almond and then very softly take it out of my fingers, never coming close to biting me. though he did kinda scratch me up sometimes when he thought i was taking the nuts from him. I wanted to hug him but I don't think he was ready for that level of affection

Today I was back on the bike and back to work after a week vacation in Houston. Seeing bros ride around shirtless here where it's barely over 80 degrees is kind of hilarious in comparison to the stupid hot weather there. Now I remember why I left Texas.

Now off to catch up and see how many times "Kilo TT" was the answer to a question here in the last 10 days.

Today I went and got new sun glasses, wound up with Oakley's. Did a little street session and got around to cutting the grass.

Bikes: See my sig...

Spent the day riding around Portland as we went about changing things at SS, DMV, and the banks to reflect my wife's new last name. Hit the food carts for some excellent Mexican food, danced in a fountain, and just enjoyed the day.

i did not enjoy it
at least it was warm... usually rain rides = cold since seattle is very dry in the summer (one of the driest places in the country, mater-of-weather-nerd-fact)

Riddle me this... why does the DMV here need your SSN when you have provided your old driver's license and passport to prove identity and citizenship ?

I can see them needing the SSN for applicants *cough*illegals*cough* that cannot provide a passport but one's passport should suffice when it comes to matters like this.

Just a set of Fives. They were the only ones that were comfortable on my nose and side of head.

Nice; I happen to own a pair of jawbones; white/ silver; came with green lenses; swapped them out for violet.

The most uncomfortable are M frames...

Today I woke up with a hospital band on my wrist. Getting hit by cars sucks, as does this week. First a german sheperd, now a ****ing dodge. At least I'm not dead!

Sowry about that.. what happened? Did you file a police report?

~~~Since you're in the bay area; DO GO to the Laney College flea market this Saturday & the next & the next; it is a absolute haven for stolen bikes. Also keep an eye on bay area CL.
