Good choice! Novatec or Formula hubs wouldn't be too bad either.

today i rode home from some weird party with a bunch of older people but afterwards we got drunk and stoned and partied it up at my frien'ds place where i realized i have an addiction to biking because I couldn't wait to get out of my friends apartment (even though the conversation was great) and pedal the hell out of it without gloves below freezing but i could handle it because my legs were generating enough heat for my whole body and i cruzed the streets and i thought of all the join that riding a steel fixed gear frame gives that no one else is experiencing in 1 in the morning thinking about all of life riding smooth roads that have 40 mph speeds and fill up at rush hour but in the dead of night the lights flicker and the streets are clear with nothing stopping you from curzing your top speed, lungs filling to the brim with fresh clean air. omg i love to bike and glad to know there are other people out there who cruise the journey on their ss bikes living each moment while imagining the future, possible on a touring bike... i mean, there's no other way to travel than by bike...

Got it. I almost never use dried morels because I tend to eat them within a day of picking them. If you make a truffle stock and rehydrate them in that. The results are pretty awesome.

Someone brought in a pair at the co-op, so I snagged them. I'm just trying different shifters since I'm now on a bike without STI levers and isnt fixed. Thanks for the offer though. I have been geeking out with this bike
on second thought, I dont think those accushift levers are compatible

... singlespeeded another mountain bike. Novara Aspen $5 +tax. Monster stem $5 + tax. Bars $12. Grips $3.
Still to come: swap out crankset for one with bolts instead of rivets to run single chainring. Get spacers for cassette. Maybe even go nuts and get a single speed cog.

Possibly later I'll grab some nutted calipers with 50-60mm reach and run 700c. Might even put my GT bullhorns on there.

^ I was curious about that too. She hasn't posted in forever and left her thread rather abruptly. I don't remember any conflict though.

Spent another day on the couch... did a fine job of twisting my ankle the other night and have only been moving when it is absolutely necessary.

Today I drove 5 hours home from my parents place to find all my fun new stuff from Scrod(and others) waiting for me. Deda stem, Assault risers, Oury grips, Tektro brake lever, All City 17t cog. I installed them and ran to my friends house for Walking Dead. Now I start on a 4 page paper and 5 minute presentation due Tuesday morning.
