Yes. Another easy solution is to heat up the crown race - causing it to expand slightly - before installing it.

i think he was talking about the bottom of the head tube, no?

ah, thats another story, but yes, a file or dremel with sanding pad will work just fine.

Scrodzilla 12-07-11 02:25 PM

And find a new lbs.

hamfoh 12-07-11 02:58 PM

Heh I like him but he normally doing roadie stuff do I don't think he sees a lot of stuff that needs to be faced. There's a shop closer to me that has it all but they just don't give me a good of a vibe.

this doesnt add up.

hamfoh 12-07-11 03:06 PM

On a phone at 5 guys do my thoughts aren't all there. I mean he doesn't really see a lot of steel that he needs to do something with

Scrodzilla 12-07-11 03:10 PM

I still don't get it. Installing a crown race is installing a crown race. You either know how to do it or you don't.

Today I got un-sup'd by the sqrl I was hangin' with. Lame. BUT wait there's more: I got to the bike lab and found about 2,000 duckets worth of stuff from Park tool and random odds/ends/components had just shown up. Still as stoked as epicschwinn. Also found out they're paying me way more than I deserve. Yes.

I've been working on a new breed of those weird things called "gif panels."

homebrewk 12-07-11 05:15 PM

I can remove it if you'd like.

hamfoh 12-07-11 05:19 PM

today I got my brooks honey saddle in the mail. and in true citygrounds fashion there's a large scuff in the middle.

I don't mind a scuffed saddle (look at my regal) - but I want to be the one scuffing it. jesus christ this company.

they finally acknowledged they sent me the wrong gloves after doing an "inventory investigation" and had me send the wrong ones back. I wonder how many times I'll have to remind them to send me the proper ones.

LesterOfPuppets 12-07-11 05:47 PM

What is that under your Schwinn's rear wheel?

FakeFuji 12-07-11 05:48 PM

where did you get the reflective tape on your moto

hairnet 12-07-11 05:58 PM

I bought it used, so I had no instructions. I am assuming I am using it correctly, but it seems someone shorter would have trouble getting a second bike up on it.

Under the wheel is a set of hex keys, but the wheel isnt resting on it.

I have Lightweights reflective tape

LocoTracks 12-07-11 05:58 PM

Today I got a new bike =]. Not a big fan of the stock bars though. Going to grab something with a flat top and maybe a non-ergo curve.
