A friend of mine has a philosophy degree. Dude makes stupid amounts of money doing something in IT. As long as you have a degree you're fine. Hell, I dropped out of high school, have no college degree, and I make more money than a lot of my friends.

Today I'm building America.

Today I called out of work... to ride.

Today is my last day in the office for 2011. It has involved doing exactly one work thing, goofing off on the internet, taking a 2-hour lunch that included beer, and now a dance party with coworkers.

Today I signed the lease for our new shop.

Not yet. We still have a little bit of building out/remodeling to do but hopefully it won't take too long.

It's small but the location is awesome and it's two blocks from our house.

Today I took 12 hoodies, a couple of jackets and a dozen T-shirts over to the Salvation Army.

Got my Deep Vs and VO metallic braided brake lines in the mail. Gonna smoke a bowl when I get home and put that sh*t on.

Yes sir. Which also means - because we will now have an actual "brick and mortar" retail location - that a lot more product will be available to us (and you guys).

The current state of things is such a complete cluster**** that I would never even want to take a picture of it, let alone post one.

Today I rode into work. On the way home some driver decided that it was necessary to screw my ride up, passes me, goes a ways goes to a point where it's too slow for me and as soon as soon as I go to overtake, floors it.. Repeated this a couple of times, since the road was wet, the guy tried it one more time and hydroplaned his aqua green hyundai, into an old oak tree. Oak tree: 1 Hyundai: 0

Well as long as there was a happy ending. Epic fail for that guy.

this is the best blog i've ever read

Today I had a tasting for the servers at the restaurant and it went swimmingly. Then, convinced my wife that we are doing what I want for Christmas this year, instead of always doing what she wants. This is the third Christmas I've had off in the past ten years, and the past two have sucked because being around my/her family gives me such terrible anxiety that I get sick, meaning violently puking for three hours before I pass out. This year, after a heated discussion, we reached a compromise. Awesome.

Wept openly at the insanity of dramatic bosses. Please XXXXX stop making this so difficult - it's just text on paper that indicates what the text below it should be about, but in a shorter, easier to read and digest format. Headlines don't need to be 40 word sentences to which I have to explain to her boss why we did this.

If only she drove a green Hyundai.

Today I got my final grades for the semester:

B in Fundamentals of Mathematics (most confusing and difficult class I've ever taken, not even joking... course title is so deceiving :mad: )
A- in Mechanical Design (gg didn't read all the instructions on the first exam :( )
A in Heat Transfer
A in Metallurgy/Welding
A+ in Signal Processing

Overall a 3.76/4.00, which I am very happy about. This was my hardest semester BY FAR and I went through a lot of crap to pull it off with ok grades.

Better not get big time on us!
