Those are about the only jobs here. I'm stationed here, so it's not like I had a choice. |

He basically said he was jealous I had shore duty because he is stuck on subs, is leaving sometime soon and has to live in Guam for three years. Ahh, the easy life. |

Today I am afraid to admit it,
but the last couple weeks of some of the most intense brakeless riding I've ever done has toasted my godddamn knees. I have no idea how these two mother****ers did the TOC brakeless: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3542/3...bef8e4e486.jpg EDIT: post number 1234 and I use it to complain about my sore vagina |
Read my post.
Note that it was also a carefully chosen photo. |

Today I did what you're supposed to do and filled my tires before heading out... and must have tugged on the valve stem too hard because I flatted my back tire. Dammit! Luckily I had enough time to change it.
|
I've done that before. damn you delicate ass presta valves
|
One time I was 15 miles away from school and I ripped out the little presta tip with my mini pump.
Thankfully both my riding buddies were carrying spare tubes. |

Also, I'm surprised Kaz didn't post about the Brussels. I think she may be the only person I know that likes those things more than I do. |

I actually had a doctors appt yesterday and they looked at one of my knees because I had mentioned pain in it (started before going brakeless, back in the bball days). I should've paid more attention, but apparently there's some muscle or tendon or something or nother that extends from my thigh down to my knee (just outside the joint is where it stops) -- and it's in rough shape and really tight or something. she mentioned needed to excercise it (I guess she saw that I'm a ****** and don't ride a bike everyday). I was scheduled physical therapy, she mentioned lasers and ****. I really didn't pay attention if you can't tell
but she didn't give me any drugs |
What's the TOC?

shiiiit. BRAKELESS!?
|
Today I: rode my road bike for the first time in two weeks. It was a fast ride and I did a lot of pulling/inspiring sprint shenanigans.
-Coasting is weird. -I feel much faster. (possibly placebo) -My bars are too narrow - the ones on the fixed are much wider and actually feel a little better. -I missed descending at 40+ -woosha woosha woosha (<3 the sound carbon rims make) That is all. p.s. Strayvee |
some dood tried to fly around the world in a ballon.
takes all types |

everytime i hear the word "IT band", i think of a buncha computer guys at working playing rock band at lunch
|
rock and roll that **** out
|
I had to google that. the name doesn't sound familiar but the wikipedia description does. have I really been dealing with this for multiple years when I could've rolled it out? why would a doctor fail to mention that? ($$$$)
|
If you put your palm on the outside of your knee do you feel a popping or clicking when you bend it?
|
yeah there's a popping but it's not like the joint itself, it's something else. if i ride brakeless for a while (and I have to stop a lot) it'll be sore a while when I get home. if i cross my leg when sitting a lot (especially if it's the super comfy under the leg for lounging) then I have to readjust because it feels like I'm going to tear it off
the pop occurs when I bend it in, not when I extend it, fwiw |
