Today I went on a 20 mile ride with a friend to try out my new Mavic Zxelliums. Riding clipless is really awesome. Clipping out is difficult.

homebrewk 11-19-11 07:50 PM

You'll get used to it pretty quickly.

WTF, suck. :(

Today I went to 3Floyd's brewery for a tour and then had lunch/dinner in the brew pub. Brought back $200 worth of beer in growlers and bombers and am now inviting friends over to drink it (and our keg of homebrew, we want to kill it so we can brew some porter soon) tonight. Woo.

Rock em all day, err day. Aside from me looking sorta goofy in pants that are any sort of 'regular' cut, they're generally easy to deal with.

I'm awkward (but it was cold).

jimmytango 11-20-11 02:36 AM

Today I went to Misskaz's house to help her dispose of beer, and pick up the growlers she got for me. I got drunk, our dd drove me to White Castle, but I'm not sure how I got home from there. I think I rode my bike...

yummygooey 11-20-11 02:39 AM

White Castle. Yes.

hairnet 11-20-11 03:07 AM

I found my Suntour ratcheting barcons and my girl friend bought me a nice dark german beer

max5480 11-20-11 03:07 AM

today i rode home from some weird party with a bunch of older people but afterwards we got drunk and stoned and partied it up at my frien'ds place where i realized i have an addiction to biking because I couldn't wait to get out of my friends apartment (even though the conversation was great) and pedal the hell out of it without gloves below freezing but i could handle it because my legs were generating enough heat for my whole body and i cruzed the streets and i thought of all the join that riding a steel fixed gear frame gives that no one else is experiencing in 1 in the morning thinking about all of life riding smooth roads that have 40 mph speeds and fill up at rush hour but in the dead of night the lights flicker and the streets are clear with nothing stopping you from curzing your top speed, lungs filling to the brim with fresh clean air. omg i love to bike and glad to know there are other people out there who cruise the journey on their ss bikes living each moment while imagining the future, possible on a touring bike... i mean, there's no other way to travel than by bike...

Broke 2 spokes and sheared off the valve stem about 20 miles from a bike shop. Superrr sketchy 20 miles.

This is why all my bikes have a Topeak Road Morph w/Gauge frame pump. Weight weenies...

That sucks! Might I suggest: Leyzne products. Carbon one linked for weight weenieism. Never sheer another valve stem again! Glad you made it back to post about it ;)

Today I am going to the World Champion Single Speed Cyclocross races in Golden Gate Park. Now where did I put that cowbell...

jimmytango 11-20-11 12:59 PM

Today I am hungover, but it was totally worth it, because last night was rad. Tons of microbrews, tons of whiskey, White Castle, and friends at Misskaz's house.

Not just any old whiskey, but Lagavulin 16yr scotch. That's what did me in.

I just woke up, LOL.

Intoxicated much? If someone actually talked to me like this, I would gradually move away from them.

Indeed. Good scotch. I still taste the peat, even after brushing my teeth. Delicious. I was up at nine haha.
