bike is an abomination, but it was fun. luckily i'm in a area where i'm only aware of two other fixed gear riders (in a city of 12k).....no one around to kill my street cred... :)

quick bruschetta/chevre/wine for dinner.

winding up the night w/ vintage dub from Lee "Scratch" Perry and I-Roy

You can't say that and not post a pic for us! :D

Today I watched "Avatar, the Last Airbender"

I have not been so moved by the sheer awfulness of a movie until today. I mean the thing was terribad.

294 miles with 10,000ft of climbing -- my legs are thrashed. Rest days, here I come.

That doesn't even compare to the badness of The Room. It's much, much worse. I just watched it this Saturday, and that thing is ALL laughs.

jimmytango 11-28-11 11:52 AM

The Room is so bad it's awesome.

Its become a cult film man. For this very reason. The stupid-funny one liners that came from it are priceless though.

I think my favorite thing form the whole thing is how now Tommy Wiseau says it was meant to be a comedy, when for the first couple years it was a romantic drama.

Today I found out the ASUS laptop I got on black friday through Best Buy's online website, became backordered. Should ship within "1 to 2 weeks" yet when I googled this predicament, I get a bunch of reviews saying it's a nightmare and I'm lucky if i even get my laptop at all.

First day back at work after 4 day weekend is hard...

Dannihilator 11-28-11 06:35 PM

Today I hammered out a hard ride.

jimmytango 11-28-11 06:50 PM

I realized today that I'm making terrible decisions that affect other people, and I need to change that. The problem with it is that one of the people involved enjoys my bad decisions as much as I do, until the next day when we both realize we ****ed up.

I also realized that I have gotten about 20 hours of sleep in the past week, and I don't remember the last day I didn't drink booze. Tonight's agenda, clean my house, nap, watch tv, and drink water. Time for a little bit of restful detox...

EpicSchwinn 11-28-11 06:59 PM

Life in the fast lane - surely make you lose your mind. I hope things start getting better for you and yours jimmy. Sounds rough man :(.

Today Spokane is still in a warm/dry spell contrary to what weather reports have predicted. I've been able to ride the rush way more than I'd thought.

calv 11-28-11 07:02 PM

Jimmy, hope you feel better and get back on track,

EpicSchwinn (whatever your real name is ;)) hope you enjoy your new Rush!

RGNY 11-28-11 07:34 PM

30 min hard pace on the rollers.

then beat Week 6 Day 3 of the "100 Pushups" program: 30sec rest periods w/ sets of 20/17/15/14/42minimum (did 60). two days rest and i should theoretically be able to do 100 non-stop.

no tv tonight, my guilty pleasure "Two Broke Girls" is a repeat. the hotness of Kat Dennings will have to wait: http://collider.com/wp-content/uploa...ge-450x600.jpg

calv 11-28-11 07:45 PM

I wish I could do push us, but I have that stupid clicking in my elbows that make it a bit uncomfortable, I resort to weight lifting.

And damn, I saw one episode and I liked it. It's pretty funny, but man does she need a tan lol.

Contrary to popular belief, I think his name is Bryan. (see avatar space)

The pale-ness looks good on her. Not every one needs a tan!

Some people, however -

Agreed, she does look "fine" but Twilight killed it for me.

Today I rode with my new Pearl Izumi softshell gloves. Not as warm as I hoped but definitely makes a huge difference. Paired with my Calv jacket from Retrogression, it makes me appreciate both a LOT more.

jimmytango 11-29-11 12:59 AM

I laid down for a two hour nap and woke up 6.5 hours later. Oops. Thanks for the kind words. Yeah, my name is Bryan. Jimmy Tango is a reference to a song that was playing when I made my account. Kat Dennings is pretty cute, and she's actually exactly my type physically. I love petite chicks with long dark hair and pale skin.

GMJ 11-29-11 02:10 AM

I would hit that like the fist of god, but she has some pretty masculine features.

Worked a closing shift to help pay for all the bike **** I've been buying. Getting pretty close to winning my frame on ebay as well :)
