same to me too, four weeks ago to the day. also a pasela tg.

...weird

Dannihilator 11-08-11 07:31 PM

Sorry to see that happened to the kagero Scrod.

Scrodzilla 11-08-11 07:38 PM

It's ok. Nicks and scratches are inevitable, it's just different when they're caused by a kid throwing a rock at your bike.

Upon seating myself outside, I see a mom and her gaggle of little kids coming down the sidewalk across the street. One of the little ****s decides it would be a great idea to throw a rock at some pigeons nearby and wouldn't you know it - his aim was insanely bad and the rock hits my bike like a Kagero-seeking missile.

Top tube protectors aren't just for top tubes anymore... :innocent:

1st skatepark day with the current DJ bike, some brat keyed the downtube on it. Bike was all of 3 days old, got the kid kicked out of the park, would have been much worse if it was the 930.

Today was a great session at the pumptrack.

Also today I ordered a campagnolo record threaded headset for the 930.

What a bummer. Looks like a good tasteful place for a sticker.

Jaytron 11-09-11 08:04 PM

Today I tried to do some sweet skids and skips on the kilo. I fail at both. I maybe got a half second skid out, and zero successful skips. My knees feel funky now.

Dannihilator 11-09-11 08:30 PM

Today my brake broke with more than half the ride left. Finished the ride anyways.

homebrewk 11-09-11 08:33 PM

You rode brakeless? Hipster. :o

Dannihilator 11-09-11 08:43 PM

Is it normal to be embarrassed by it?

homebrewk 11-09-11 08:45 PM

No.

Dannihilator 11-09-11 08:48 PM

Ok, good thing I wasn't embarrassed. Had to do it out of necessity.

homebrewk 11-09-11 08:54 PM

No big deal. You have to do what you have to do.

Doomride 11-09-11 09:33 PM

Today I got tricked by the sandwich shop I regular for lunch during work weeks. I told them regular mustard instead of Dijon. Got back to work and had to mask the Dijon taste with jalapeno chips and bottled root beer. Man life is rough.

Street rider 11-09-11 11:00 PM

Today I tooled around in the rain most of the day, classes and such. Just got home from a local coffee shop watching some friends perform at open mic

seau grateau 11-09-11 11:19 PM

Today I got a flat. Also I am becoming increasingly apathetic about my university studies. It's my last semester of undergrad and I regret almost every choice I've made in my collegiate years.

calv 11-09-11 11:47 PM

That's kind of how I feel now man. ****. I feel like I should just drop out and ride bikes for the rest of my life with the choices I've made. Oh well.

mkeHENRY 11-09-11 11:49 PM

Today I rode my bike through cold ass rain and strong ass winds.
Worst weather I've experienced on a bike so far.

I don't like it. I need low profile wheels and some damn gloves!

cc700 11-10-11 12:20 AM

rode the ftp with bullhorns to work and back. LOVEEEEE

Hothead286 11-10-11 12:42 AM

Switched my beater bike ratio to 48-19 and skidded around everywhere.

LesterOfPuppets 11-10-11 01:27 AM

...got a PBSFS. So nice to get away from the White Stripes colorway.

calv 11-10-11 01:49 AM

Man, the b/cl one looks so sharp! I don't really like the w/r one..

LesterOfPuppets 11-10-11 01:54 AM

Yeah, I kinda wanna smash my white and red one now :)

jimmytango 11-10-11 05:05 AM

Today I worked (it feels good to say that again), and did entirely too much drinking with Kaz and some friends during karaoke. I have to he up for work in four hours and I'm pretty buzzed. It's gonna be a looooong day.

Calv, you gotta come out here and rage/ride with us. I have a pull out couch with your name on it, as long as you aren't allergic to cats.

I won't ever go back to horns. If you use brakes, your choices are bar ends and/or cross levers (both of which I don't care for). The extra reach from a bullhorn usually means you need a short stem which can affect your handling... I use to LOVE bullhorns, but now I realize they just suck.
