Which side of diablo? I've done the backside, which is easier. Willing to do the front.

All brakeless? That descent is guaranteed to be slow if so. I'm asking because my brake setup isn't fixed yet :|

But yeah, send me the details.

Was apparently chased for 1/4 a mile by a guy on a rickety old pawnshop bike who finally caught me as I was locking up my bike who wanted to tell me that I had a nice bike; it was disturbing and I pretended I did not speak English, or Spanish or Deutsche. Then I took the bike in with me because he was starting to flirt with it.

... rode down to Portland. They paved over the minefield of north Delta Park ! Virginal pavement is soooo nice! Got a couple of Burnside Oatmeal Pale Ales @ the Black Cat. $3 instead of ye olde $2 per pint BC price

Downtown Performance has some nice helpful staff but I sure wish they knew a thing or two. I go in.

Dude sez Can I help you find something.

I sez Yeah, Spin Doctor 4-way headset wrench.

You mean a 3-way allen wrench?

Nahhh, headset wrench, like 30, 32, 36 and whatever the big one is...

Oh, OK, follow me. Next aisle. Grabs a combo cone wrench, sez This?

Ahh, well, like I say they are nice and try to help.

Got about 20 under my belt so far. This flatland stuff feels easy after my Saturday hill excursion.

I was born in the 60s myself. City ridin is no problem. My headlight's too dim for country action unless it's a full moon.

Moar beerz + beefy rims and it's all good

I've got bad stig too. I get blinded by headlights bad. Took the unlit MUP home Sat before last. I couldn't see ****. I was riding westbound and it's on the south side of a 4 lane HWY.

Road the shoulder (north side) of HWY this past Sat and got by no problemo.

That sounds so good right now. Too bad they close right when I'm out of this class.
