Today I:
Have a friend that wants to trade me a Velocity Deep-V laced to an Origin8 fixed-fixed hub for an unbranded aluminum seatpost and some dough. What's a good amount of money.

Did a 20 mile dirt road loop today. The roads were freshly graded, so it was more like riding in a small amount of sand, plus head wind on the second half. Not as fun as I thought it was going to be, not too shabby though.

Today was a fun hard paced 36 mile road ride. Felt invigorated a day after taking a day off from it.

Today I rode deep into the heart of Portland and didn't get rained on. Got a free 2-liter of Whole Foods root beer. Went to singlespeed a sweet lugged Free Spirit but it has fork made for teeny axle. Dunno if I'll dremel dropouts tomorrow or just move on to other project. Rode home in the snow.
There was a poo story also but I think I'll hold off on that one.

When it rains...
And I had it this summer, and apparently riding my bike about killed me. I rode a lot before I knew I had it, and at one point my liver enzymes were elevated to an unsafe level. Take it as easy as humanly possible man.

Boar's Head is the best. Legrands stocks their stuff. The salsilito turkey is my favorite.

went to the track with a buddy and did some training, another fella from Canada showed up so we ran a paceline for a while then I ran some 200m sprint pace drills with him. Psyched to finally have a dry day at the track.
