All the Ironmans I saw on CL were going for that and it was cheaper than the equivalent Cannondales. CL here is inflated but it looks like $300 is common on Ebay. We're all happy though, there are going to be a lot of social rides happening in May and I want to take my brother. From there hopefully he will tag along on some workout rides because he needs to do something physical for a change.

I was skimming and thought you scored a Centurion for $62.
They go for about $300 here. Local thrift store even had a nicer condition red one for $400. THRIFT STORE!
I live near a city that boasts oddly high prices for olde lugged steel, however.
I used to have a Suntour Winner 6-speed FW that would be nice on that rig. Had pretty manly gearing, though, 13-21. Haven't seen it for a while I may have lost it in a move.

Trying to decide if I want to pick up a Rival shifter set with front and rear derailer. Price is good but I need to figure out if I want it on the road bike.

Paint damage might be a sign of a bad crash, and I wouldn't want to buy carbon like that with no warranty.
It looks like it was just bad paint job to start. Its flaky everywhere. Doesn't look like crash damage at all.
Today I dialled the new ride... had an 11-21 and an 11-28 here so went with the 11-28 which gives the standard double the same low as a compact and beacuse my knees are approaching 50.

Now I am going to go and ride it like I stole it.

Today I finished truing/tensioning my wheels for my Bare Knuckle (hard-anodized TB14s to Suzue Pro Max). I know ddeadserious will be pissed at me not posting pics but I didn't take any. Maybe tomorrow.
FWIW - after reading a bunch of crap on the interwebz about TB14s being difficult to deal with because they're not round to begin with and bla bla bla, they were literally the easiest wheels I've ever built.

But I do want to see pics, I've been drooling over those rims.

Today I realized (once again) that I'm wasting time in college. State schools = bull**** and busy work and I'm done. It's gonna be hard for me to convince myself to come back once the semester ends in a week and a half.
Also, I screwed up something in the newspaper and I feel like a total dick. Been beet red for the last few hours.
On the bright side, my seatpost and Panaracer TG max showed up from retrogression and I mounted them during my lunch break (read: I didn't eat today), it was my first time with handling a folding tire. Felt weird until it didn't.

Just got a ticket to NY for $12 lol. Maybe I'll try for a century while I'm there?

there was a $450 off coupon!
and by century I meant 100 miles on a bike. I want to get one done with my grandfather while I still can.

Century with gramps would be rad!
Today I did another touring rig load test. Lying under the moon listening to frogs ribbet right now.
I need front rack but am so cheap I might stick with rear rack + backpack.
Sleeping indoors totally sucks.

Pedals would be worthless for 4-6weeks. A Wii will be fun as hell.
