177-185 depending on the number of beers that week.
You all still got me beat by a mile.

With my body type and build, I don't think I could squeeze much below 170 without being skeletal and in deep poop with the wife.
I hit 165 almost 3 years ago for my first marathon (poor eating, plus huge base miles) and wasn't able to maintain any muscle mass. My wife threatened to have me hospitalized if I didn't put some weight back on. Other than my love for quality beer, my vegetarian diet combined with running, tri training for 6 months out of the year and riding habits keep me at least safe.

I can relate Santaria. I'm 5'11" and sometimes I get as low as 153 if I'm riding hard. That's when I take an easy week and go into fatty mode eating lots of goodies.
Today I saw this cool bike :

not too bad looking.. Looks to be a newer model. Not too familiar with Merckx road bikes.

I'm trying to ID the bike. I can't seem to figure out what model of their lineup came with that style of fork? Maybe it's aftermarket? All of them seem to have some sort of crown on them.
I was shocked to see one that looks so nice with modern parts, like that threadless headset and ksyriums.
I still lust after these :

and pretty much every other merckx road or track... I love the pink / dark blue ones... Merckx mondays on prolly's site usually gets my blood running...

you guys would tell me to eat a sandwich. one of my good buddies is over 200 lbs and climbs like a gazelle, there is hope.
Taught my friend, who is just getting into cycling, how to change a tire and tube.
must bike more. 6' #200. of course i put on muscle (and chub) real easy. former #275 powerlifter. current goal is 195, then 185.
also considering a roadie. debating between vintage-ish and new. will depend on how much i have to tool up. have the desire to snag a late 70's / early 80's Raleigh to relive my youth, but the market around here is dead. will have to wait until yard sale season kicks off and begin the hunt...

... bought new shelving for my shop to try and create some order from what was chaos.
Half a dozen people stopped to comment on the rig... one guy said he felt bad for driving his car and should have ridden his bike.
