Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Ha...it was actually the right side that was longer. Other than that slight issue though, they're pretty damn nice.

Just brewed up an IPA.

This was the first batch I've brewed where I've actually had some of my previous beer to enjoy while brewing!

BTW, there's some brown ales here wid ur name on em.

Sure, they could use another week or so in the bottle, but they're drinkable.

Did you buy the 'damaged' ones from eBay or did they come like this from a normal order?

I told her if the price difference was more than $10 I'd buy their most stained pair

They were from eBay. Considering that's the only thing wrong with them and will be an easy fix, I can't really complain.

My wife randomly hijacked my laptop for work after the ssd in her macbook pooped out and left me to wake up to this dud and applecare papers; I've been reduced to an iphone to browse this place, not to mention I have to drop it off all the way at a fedex office.

today i did my usual 30 mile round trip commute to school on the samson. when you are on the greenway before you get to the GWB there is this huge hill that i usually walk up which i finally made it up on a fixed gear! on my way up this guy laughed as he saw me gaining speed to get up the hill then clapped as i made it up. too funny. the only reason i didnt stop was because i was clipped in and would of fell on my ass! i wish there was a way to see the elevation. i know its probably not too crazy compared to some but it was pretty tough for me.

Today my on trial number 3 of my experiment, I hit a hiccup that is causing me to wait until tomorrow to finish it. Science is frustrating.
