Today I cleaned my bike. I had citrus degreaser, a bucket of water, a sponge, a brush, but no work stand. 2000+ miles and virtually zero maintenance, my bike was begging for some attention.

Here's a far away, looks "almost new" shot before my test ride. I really need to get that stem sorted out. It's definitely too high.

That drivetrain was gnarly.

Today I washed my bike for the second time this week. Hopefully no rain after this time. Maybe wax her @ work tomorrow. Maybe find nutted front caliper with right side cable in PDX bike shop bins tomorrow (fingers crossed)

Yep... it was destined for the recycling bin but still works fine and will do until I pick up a flat screen monitor to free up some real estate on my desk, today I scored the holy grail of shop pieces short of finding a Campagnolo shop kit.

New shoes day! I'll only show you guys the one pair that slightly relates to this forum.

They're nice Here's two photos of them being worn - and my awesome legs/sock tan.

one more

So far, on the limited 5 mile ride I took them on, they've been great. I'm a little concerned about a toe clip ruining the leather up front, but I might try to get some of those leather-wrapped MKS ones.

Also, they have some nifty shoelace loops and a built in heel tab.

My Asicses are pretty much dead. Saw some New Balance trail runners on sale, will probably replace with them.

Villy Customs got his half mil on Shark Tank. Fruity cruisers soon in store near you

Yep... It never slips out of adjustment, is virtually unbreakable, has no plastic (like the new model) and trues a wheel as well as anything ever made.

Because computer companies think people are interested in the useless software.

Serious answer: Because it helps subsidize the laptop to make it cheaper to buy.
Snarky answer: Because no one would voluntarily go buy that company's crappy software.
