hills for dayzzzz

esp if you live on the top of a hill (like everyone does)

i guess if you live in ballard or fremont you're at the bottom of a hill

I don't like it. And those NuVinci hubs are goofy.

nuhtowel 07-26-12 09:56 AM

the hub is alright in my book, but those wheels+stem+bars=ideal city bike?

misskaz 07-26-12 10:10 AM

That stem+bars combo makes me want to vomit. I don't see what's "ideal city bike" about that at all.

LessonLearned 07-26-12 10:24 AM

Is there even such thing as an ideal city bike for all?

FakeFuji 07-26-12 10:26 AM

Not flashy but functioning

nuhtowel 07-26-12 10:29 AM

and fenders

That one's geared towards someone who drinks more Red Bull than me, I think. I'd be happy with a lighter version of the Raleigh Sports with wider gear range and front rack.

Switch the cranks and bars to silver, add fenders and I'd gladly roll that thing, though.

ddeadserious 07-26-12 10:53 AM

I would throw up all over that bike if I could.

Then the idiot that wrote the article and called anything on it "perfect".

jdgesus 07-26-12 11:03 AM

My husband and I have been having some issues lately. Had some major awful fights this week. Today he bought this:

And wants to "find something stupid to do with it tonight" with me. :)

This may be better than make-up sex?

jdgesus 07-26-12 12:23 PM

makeup sex ON THE PUGLSY

nuhtowel 07-26-12 12:26 PM

misskaz 07-26-12 12:30 PM

Well it's mostly for him but if I can fit on it the idea is I can ride it too. Still, we were talking about ways to have fun together again and this seems like a good idea to me!

nuhtowel 07-26-12 12:31 PM

playing bikes is always the best way to have fun with a significant other! this gives me a fun idea for a thread...

LessonLearned 07-26-12 12:38 PM

That thing is gnar! For tonight's festivities might I suggest...

I don't even know where I would take a pugsley to really put it through its paces. Don't forget to check tire pressure before you go out kaz :D

prooftheory 07-26-12 12:59 PM

I wish I could pull off buying a bike for myself as a makeup present.

Yeah, same here. I'm thinking we take it to the beach.

Impressive, isn't it? In this case I kinda ****ed up so he deserves a present, and this is at least better than refusing to even look at me.

LessonLearned 07-26-12 01:09 PM

Beach is good but also that park on Montrose/California. Has hills and trail.
