Today I got in a fun, hilly 50 miles.

you can get a really big allen key to remove the self extracting bolts cap and order a new one from sram
you are going to also need an easy out for your drill go slow and get a good bite on it

Actually, I think you can use a standard 15mm axle nut. At least I did this on a SRAM XX crank the other day, so yours is probably be the same size. And why would he need an easy out?

To be honest i'm probably gonna leave it be until I can get some 75's and let my LBS deal with removal.

That sucks. Let me know if you need a new self-extracting assembly. I think I have a couple of them hanging around in a box somewhere at the shop.

So, I just went to a private midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises. Amazing. Absolutely incredible. The fact that the theater also had a bartender just for us that was pouring Dragon's Milk, Zombie Dust, and Jameson didn't hurt.
