I have a 50 gig Linux Partition, a partition that houses an image of my work computer and then my WinXP partition. I've come up with a different backup method for work comp so I guess I can drop that chunk now.

Lotta graphics files, but mostly small CorelDraw vector files. Maybe 100 movies, about 4.5 GB apiece max, and a buncha race D/Ls from cyclingtorrents.nl.

Funny that I was just talking to my youngest about clearing up her laptop's memory a little as she has nearly filled 100 GB drive and I am sitting here with 1TB in the desktop and another external 1 TB drive (which she can back up her laptop to).

I have barely put a dent in the storage capacity I have here but don't do a lot of media / music... just have thousands upon thousands upon thousands of image files.

Instantly thought of the band Glassjaw, which made me realize that I've missed their last few Chicago shows, and now I'm sad.

Ha! The first time that happens is the worst.

Nagrom_ 12-12-12 07:16 PM

A bamboo skewer works as a pretty good non driving nipple driver. IE, it just holds the damn thing in place.

Muffin Man 12-12-12 07:19 PM

Both wheels are laced, I just need to tension and true the wheels.
And the bamboo skewers thing is a good idea. Didnt think of that.

So does a spoke.

Since you two are so damn smart, how do you do the last spoke/nipple?

hah, yeah. Take that.

Scrodzilla 12-12-12 08:00 PM

You always buy at least one extra spoke.

In your case, I know you bought six extras.

Muffin Man 12-12-12 08:02 PM

oh snap. Get told

now wtf do I do will all this bamboo...

Dannihilator 12-12-12 08:14 PM

Today was a mixed day. Won't be getting that merykx, went to get it and upon close inspection, frame wasn't in as good of shape as I hoped. Think I'm going to put that money towards a new crankset for the 930... Had a good road ride today then went and put my tree up and found a dead mouse and a bunch of rat poison in my tree box.

This^

FWIW, even the threaded end of a broken spoke would work if you happen to have one laying around that's long enough to accommodate the depth of the rim.

I know it doesn't, but it's something that a lot of people (including myself) haven't had. We can't all go to Belgium and have it there.

Edit: Now that I've tried it, I agree. Very sweet, very malty. Sort of reminds me of Samiclaus. Not really my style. Good, but not great.

Ann.Occupanther 12-12-12 10:08 PM

Today I found this on craigslist. Thought I would post it here in case anyone needs one to check if their frame is aluminum or steel.

jimmytango 12-12-12 10:21 PM

Hahahahaha

Sounds Japanese. Can I test Italian steel with it?

Today I'm going to attempt to my first ride since being sick. My goal is to ride a mile for every degree it is out, so far it looks like 35-40.
