I spent the day in Little Tokyo with my girlfriend because she has been pretty emotional lately. There was much Sapporo, takoyaki, and donburi. Unfortunately it is way too hot for soups or curry.

I love curry in the heat.

In pacific grove for a tri. Checked out a local bike shop, picked up a new pair of bib shorts on sale, couple pair of socks, and two sweet cycling caps (my first).

Went to a craft fair, had a whiskey-bacon-vanilla gelato bar dipped in dark chocolate, came home and watched some Doctor Who, took a nap, got jealous of Scrod's new bike, and now I'm watching Top Gear. Rad.

only glitch was the unused streetcar tracks that i usually bunnyhop. poor form, landed a little hard and my right hood slipped down about 2", effectively clamping the rear brake. that was fun. luckily i was able to bludgeon it back into place with my shoe (clipless mtb)....

No, that's all the way into the Valley and I hardly ever go there. Sounds good though!!
