I read the book in High school. First time through, read it straight through in a day. It was written for teens, so it doesn't surprise me it came off a bit cheesy. The book is really worth a read in a 'not so serious, not the best written material ever' sort of way.

Worked, rode, played video games, now bed. Not a bad day.

CJWIZVRDGVNG 09-26-12 11:53 PM

Ate biscuits and gravy for lunch. Day dreamed of riding my new build. Started studying for my CompTIA A+, which should be a breeze.

Now, time to catch up on the last few episodes of Breaking Bad.

Today I was freaking tired as hell after my ride. Same route I usually ride, don't know why it wore me out.

TheRealFaux 09-27-12 12:13 AM

Today I did a shadow shift for TCB Courier.

Leukybear 09-27-12 12:23 AM

Today I proofided all the brooks saddles.

big time!

way cool.

today i:
made myself eggs and bacon on a bagel. best ****ing breakfast ever.
then i bought plastics glue and fixed the dial on my room's light dimmer. a new dimmer would have been 42 dollars before tax. glad i saved the 38 bucks. I rode three of my bikes today... that trip was on the mtb. I tried installing a lockring on my uniglide, but it's the wrong size so i need to get a different one at work tomorrow. i gave the raleigh a quick rinse. i rode the tourer to get paper towels and food and brought back sushi, then i rode the track bike for shaving cream and razors. did laundry too. then i drove my car(!) for burritos because i wanted to make sure the headlights were working right(had a capsule play ghosties on me in traffic the other day back from cross race) and even though they were, i still ordered some yellow bulbies as backup and for OMGLULZ/wintermode.

i also got tickets to k.flay tomorrow night. psyched.

RGNY 09-27-12 05:52 AM

oof. upon review, i gotta stop posting on no sleep....

emergency bunnyhop this morning. tree had fallen across the trail, just around a bend. luckily it was light enough to see today (no cloud cover). headlight should be here Monday. that will be nice.....

Soo__Fuego 09-27-12 06:39 AM

Couldn't sleep, so I went to Walmart cause I needed some things. I got me Roku box!!!! I can now Netflix on the old tv in the computer room!!!!!!!!

:(

IthaDan 09-27-12 08:35 AM

Welded more. Made a stand out of galvanized pipe and pipe clamps.

Feeling a little woozy, galvanized fumes are no joke.

misskaz 09-27-12 09:31 AM

today i'm super sick. ears ringing, can't breathe, head feels like it's in a vice. ugh. good thing i work from home on thursdays anyway, but i still have a conference call in a few hours and our final checkpoint meeting tonight for our tiny fix race. i will probably have to drive to the tiny fix meeting -- so lame -- because it's all the way downtown and i can barely stand up let alone ride 20 miles today.

Oof... That sucks.

Street rider 09-27-12 10:25 AM

Today I dropped the bike off at the shop so they can throw on my new crankset and chain. Whats sad, I probably could've bought the necassary bb tool for cost of labor. Too bad I don't have my chain breaker here with me.

Also, the girl who manages the shop kept telling me I was boring because I just wanted a nickel plated chain instead of a colored/rainbow one.

I am sick, too. I've been snorting Mucinex Full Force like crack because it's the only thing that completely clears my head. And NyQuil for sleep.

Maybe you should skip your meeting and sleep? I'm pretty sure it was my last ride that did me in. I got sick right after.

Don't you know that rainbow chains make you go faster?

hairnet 09-27-12 11:19 AM

I bought a gold chain for that extra zip
