Today I:
trail ride to work in the rain today. wow, clay is really slick when soaked. also, had to dig a thorn out of my scalp after a disagreement with a bush the wind blew in my face. also put a 1/4" slash in my rain jacket. grrr....
received some Thomson-y goodness from Scrod, which i will probably stay up way too late installing for tomorrow's commute.
grabbed the boxed set of "Cowboy Bebop" so i can watch it, in order, with my wife. she's not quite as nerdy as i am, but i'm working on it.

I kicked a customer out of the shop today. He said that all roadies are "******s", I asked him not to use that word because it's offensive, he got upset and said that I was a "****ing ****sucking fairy ******" because I find that word offensive. The other mechanic and I physically escorted him from the premises.
A while later, a regular customer came in and called me her aesthetic ideal because the tattoos and stretched ears make me seem dangerous, yet my smile and baby face make me seem non-threatening. Best of both worlds.
TLDR:I have crazy customers.

how many episode/seasons were there of that show? i think i only watched one season and ive been wanting to watch it again
damn netflix and their non anime offerings.
also, check out Outlaw Star, just as good, arguably better. Well, they're both arguably better.
I'm glad there wasn't any cloud cover today. Would have been humid as hell.
I mean this literally, although I've never been, I'd assume hell is humid.

+1 SSFG anime kickback. so good
Do you get lot of crazies? My shop is located across the street from the bum hangout in downtown Santa Monica. We have had to call the police numerous times

Today at work I seriously stubbed my right big toe in the morning while wearing toms and ended up walking with a limp the entire day. Thankfully I'm a ambidextrous skidder otherwise I would've had to have phoned home. The swelling has gone down but there's a bruise half the length of the toenail. I totally blame my sqrl for this as it was her idea (matching outfits) and she helped me fit a pair where the tips of my toes stick out beyond the foam sole as what she describes as the "proper way".
Awesome.

Today we had a meeting to reactivate a cycling club RSO here on campus. Pretty stoked. Also learned that theres a halloween alleycat here. Pretty positive I'm signing up.

I'm not jdg aha
Anyhow my sqrl kissed it and encased it in a chode bandage after cleaning it all up.
Class is for men I heard. But then again it's pretty hard to have any these days and times. In which case it was obligatory of me to utter obscenities out loud when said event occurred whilst hopping around on one foot.

More dialing in fit for the townie. Angled porteur bars slightly, went from 50t up front to 42t (8-spd 13-26 in the back) and couldn't be happier. Big ring life is not for me. Also got told by LBS mechanic that the Campy QR skewer on the front wheel classed up the whole build.
